Long Overdue Update….

We are now at 24 weeks in our pregnancy. It seems crazy to think that we only have 16 weeks before we get to see and hold the little guy. Everything has been going smoothly and my belly seems to get bigger by the day. It has become an on-going joke that I am very “healthy” looking these days. David asked me last night why I laugh when he says something about it. All I could say was, “If you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?” I do find it humorous right now…..in a couple of months it may not be as funny!! Baby boy has been swimming away in my tummy lately. You can actually see the movement at times which is very cool. I think Sebastian has been a little freaked out by the movement. It’s amazing how cats know something is different. He seems to follow me around the house a lot more and he definitely is more snuggly than he used to be. And the other night, he learned how to jump in the bassinette and play with the little teddy bears that hang on the umberella. We will definitely have to keep our eyes on him at all times once the little one arrives.

We are going to Orlando in 2 weeks to visit both of our families and take a little vacation from the city. I am very excited and look forward to slowing down for a little while. Things get so crazy here that it will be nice not to worry about anything except what we are going to eat!!
