What An Incredible Day!!!

David and I had a great time visiting with my family last week. We laughed, we ate, we shopped, we ate and did I mention we ate?!? I thought that surely I had gained back the weight that I had lost, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Whenever we got back into town I got sick again. I had 3 pretty bad days but I am praying that the worst is over. Yesterday was a good day and I am feeling well so far today.

Now for the news about yesterday: I work downtown right behind the White House. There is always something going on down here so I was not surprised to see lights and cameras as I left for my lunch break. Walking down the street, I asked someone what was going on. The lady told me that they were filming a scene from the movie National Treasure 2. I got so excited!!! I loved the first one and have been anticipating the second one since I heard that they were going to make a sequel. To actually be on the set of one of the scenes was amazing. I stood there my entire lunch break but I didn’t get to see Nicholas Cage, Jon Voight, Diane Kruger, or Justin Bartha (the main characters). I called David immediately and told him what was going on and he and a friend came down in the afternoon to take some pics with our new camera. Fortunately for me, I did get to see them all later in the day. And Nicholas Cage was actually 7 feet in front of me and even looked at me. Here is what David captured:
